This time Steinitz EA hurt me badly
Yesterday I close all open position in Steinitz because from 24.12.2008 to 02.01.2009 leverage for all accounts in FXOPEN will be reduced to 1:33
Account balance
2 Sep 08 (Start)= 7.385
5 Oct 08 = 10.890 (+18%)
3 Nov 08 = 13.321 (+80%)
1 Dec 08 = 14.034 (+90%)
24 Dec 08 = 7.268 (-1.5%)
All the profit made in 3 months all are gone and I get minus too. This is very bad.This is my live statement grahics since 2 Sepetember 2008

Ouch - sorry to see that. Unfortunately I've paid for the Steinitz directional robot as well as the HAS MTF. Definitely won't be going live with them after seeing this. Question though on Robominer - presumably if you get the GTShadow EA you don't need to get the robominer, since one includes the other? Also - with those EAs I notice that as with Steinitz there is no stoploss - do you end up with large unclosed losses intra-month?

ABout no Stop Loss, I don't pay much attention because it's demo :D
I only see it when I post the statement. From January I will closely monitor it.
Hi we have also been trading with the steinitz and faced the same problem. After asking Don Steinitz what to do he suggested to close all conditions whenever they have not come back after 10 days and when we are in an overall profit. We were once in minus 67'000 and the account recovered within about 2-3 weeks but cost us a lot of nerves. I still like the system as it generates lots of trades and lots of profit in a very short time. We are now observing it and try to avoid big drawdowns. We are currently trading with autotradingsulution V2 which is a grid system and producing huge profit every day.
