ProAdvisor 5 EA

I found another promising hedging EA in ebay. It's called ProAdvisor 5 EA. The creator's name is Igor S, I don't know if he the Igor who is respected and senior member in Forex Tsd Forum.

This is the 3th Hedging EA I've tested after TradeGoose EA and Trio Hedge EA. But the demo version is only for one week, same as Trio Hedge EA. So still don't know the result in long term.

What I found about PA5 EA is.
* Use 5 pair to hedge EUR/USD, USD/JPY, EUR/JPY, AUD/USD and NZD/USD.
* Have positive swap when all pair is open.
* Use some kind of 3 level average method.
* Can set the setting from conservative to aggressive.

I make a forward test with conservative setting using Lite Forex broker and get profit $22.01 with floating loss is $3.77. So return for this week is about 2%.
But it said in ebay site give profit +1390% in Igor live account for less than 2 months May-June 2008. It is using aggressive setting but I don't know the Drawdawn.

This is my forward test statement graphic using ProAdvisor 5 EA.

You can download detailed statement dated 12 July 2008

Anybody heard PA5 EA before and have experience with it?

Hi,

I have the PA5 EA. The performance you were talking about with the agressive settings crashed and burned about 1 week and a 1/2 ago. I was monitoring it from the Read Only account at the time it happened. I am trading with much less aggressive settings. So far so good but the test has been short.

Cheers

Hi,

I purchased the PA 5 EA. I was also watching through the read only account the performance of the account with the aggressive settings you mentioned. That performance crash and burned about 2 weeks ago. I am testing it with less aggressive settings and so far so good up +11.27%. However, the test is only 1 week old so far.

Hi anonymous, thanks for the update, I'm still keep an eye on investor password provided by Igor. It seems PA5 depends on EUR/JPY movement.

When EUR/JPY down, it will have floating minus. Open EUR/JPY chart, U can see from 16 July 2008, EUR/JPY is up and close some PA5 position,

What do u think?

Hi duyduy

I wonder if your PA5 account still survive until now or if it already burned out.
